How to Develop Your Very Own Poker Rakeback Strategy

Date: September 27, 2009

If you’re familiar with terms like straight, stud, draw and community, then you should already have an idea about how to play the casino card game which is poker. Over the years, poker has become a weekly bonding ritual for men as well as a high stakes game at casinos. In the year 2000, there came a point when the poker gaming industry has almost shut down because of a decline in popularity and an ageing demographic.

Fortunately, the development of online casino gaming environments has revived the popularity of poker. Perhaps one of the factors which contributed to the success of online poker is the concept of offering rakebacks to players. What exactly is a rake back and is it beneficial for players? How do you choose which poker rake back offer to go with? Read on to find out. What Beginners Need to Know about Poker Rake Back Before delving deeper into the many ways that you can develop your very own poker rakeback strategy, let us first discover what this term exactly is.

As the name implies, rakeback is a refund of the ‘rake’ which players earn. It’s basically a percentage of the rake which is contributed to the pot, which is then put back into your account as an online poker player. This is an especially helpful feature for high-stakes poker players. On the other hand, newbie poker players are not even aware that they are supposed to receive a percentage of the rake and earn it back into their account – which is why it pays to learn more about poker rakeback in the first place.

Choosing the Poker Sites which offer the Best Rake Back

Now that you already have an idea about the basic definition of a rake back, how can you make sure that the poker room where you are playing will give you the best deal as far as this aspect of the game is concerned? It may be a bit confusing for first-time online poker players, but you should soon get the hang of determining which site offers the best rake back offers. It is good to first determine how a rakeback is calculated. This may vary from site to site, but the general calculation is the same. It is based from the monthly gross revenue so that the amount that each player paid in rake can be determined. Then, it becomes the basis of how much rakeback a player is entitled to. You should also make a comparison of the online poker bonuses, the different rakeback offers, VIP programs and read online reviews about which the top poker sites are.

Why would you want to play any other online casino game which does not offer you as much rakeback as poker does? By developing a poker rakeback strategy which is truly your own and playing at the best website, you will not just have a heck of a time playing poker – but you can maximize your earnings as well!

How do you earn loyalty bonus on poker sites?

Date: September 27, 2009

If you think that poker sites do not appreciate your playing in their rooms you are mistaken. Most of the poker sites admit the fact and to show their appreciation when they offer loyalty bonus or VIP bonus to the regular players. The players receive cash or rewards for playing with the poker sites or playing tournaments with them. You can get real cash into your deposit after you play certain number of raked hands decided by the poker room. The best part of loyalty bonus is that you don’t have to make a deposit to earn this poker bonus. It is given purely as a prize from the poker sites.

Most of the times the loyalty bonus is 25% or 35% of the rakeback amount but if you play with higher amounts and larger number of hands you can get better loyalty points which is converted into loyalty bonus. Even in land based casinos you can get cash prizes for playing certain number of raked hands. The online poker sites may give a small amount of cash as loyalty bonus but it is free cash and it adds to your bankroll. You also start earning player’s points the moment you start playing. These points are useful for entering tournaments or acquiring freerolls or to buy poker objects from the online poker shops.

Poker sites also have a system of levels of loyalty points and the loyalty bonuses are given according to your level. If you have just entered the poker room obviously your loyalty points will be lower than those who have been playing at the site for a longer time. As you play regularly at a poker site you will graduate from level to level and will be awarded higher points for a specified amount of raked hands. Once you reach the highest level you will get VIP bonus as poker sites call it. The VIP bonus is a substantial amount and will boost your bankroll considerably.

The loyalty bonuses have a number of advantages. Firstly you don’t have to go from poker room to poker room in search of poker bonuses as you will do with your deposit bonus. These loyalty bonuses are paid to you on monthly basis so once you clear the bonus you don’t have to change the poker room. It also adds up to your bankroll and help you to play bigger hands or on bigger tournaments. Loyalty bonuses are not based on your losing or winning. It simply depends on how many raked hands you have played. So if you are losing some money you can make it up by cashing in the loyalty bonus.

No Deposit Poker Bonus

Date: September 25, 2009

One of the main attractions of playing poker online is the free money the poker sites give away to attract players. There are number of ways the poker sites give poker bonus or free money to the players. On of them is ‘no deposit poker bonus’. The online sites that register you with them without asking for a deposit are what constitute no deposit poker bonus. The poker rooms which give no deposit bonus just want the players to try them out free. In order to clear out your poker bonus you can have a claim on your winning only after required number of bets played by you or raked poker hands.

The greatest advantage of no deposit poker bonus is that if you have good poker skills you build up your bankroll with this free money. If you are a mediocre player then you can enter and play in a poker site for free and find out how the game is played and how you can learn to make it profitable. In doing so you have no risk of losing more money than you are require to. In fact this is the best way to start off your poker in the real cash games.

There are certain terms and conditions that are put down by the poker sites which they want you to understand before you sign up with them. Firstly you will have to be of an age where you can play poker legally. Secondly you can register only once in one poker site. Here the poker rooms are quite strict as some people try to register giving different names or get multiple people to register. Your computer id is tracked by the casino and they can ban a person for such behavior. Also you are required to give your credit card number to the poker room.

To claim the no deposit bonus there are three ways are adopted:

1) As soon as you register yourself with the no deposit poker room, they will deposit your poker bonus into your real cash account. These are instant no deposit poker bonus. You can start playing with real money immediately, any of the cash games or tournaments.

2) Sometimes the poker rooms offer free poker bankroll no deposit. This happens when third party companies team up with poker rooms and sponsor free money to be given to the players. The players on their part need to sign up with such poker rooms, give personal details and access the free bankroll.

3) At times in some no deposit poker bonus room you can start the game with poker chips which can be tuned to real money later.
